Graham’s After School Sports Program is open to any student who holds a 2.0 GPA or higher (with no more than one F) and is in good standing with our school. We look for those students who represent Graham well, have good citizenship, and have a love for the sport in which they hope to compete. Our school is in the competitive Valley Athletic League, and many of our student-athletes continue playing sports in high school. You can find more information about our league at VALLEYAL.ORG
All athletes are bussed to and from each athletic competition, with the exception of playoff games. Information about tryouts can be heard on the morning announcements and found on the Graham Athletics website. Each sport runs approximately six weeks, with 10 games during the regular season. MVEF is proud to fund the transportation, coaches, and referees for after-school sports with donations from parents and community members. Learn more and donate at mvef.org.
Below are the sports that we offer.
Season 1 (8/26): Boys Basketball, Softball, Cross Country
Season 2 (10/7): Girls Volleyball, Wrestling
Season 3 (12/9): Boys Volleyball, Girls Soccer
Season 4 (2/10): Girls Basketball, Boys Soccer, Tennis**
Season 5 (4/7): Track and Field
Schedules for each season will be sent home with the players at the start of the season. Games will also be listed on our school's public calendar. Contact our Athletic Director with any questions.

-Happening now-
Graham After School Athletics is back for 2024-2025! We are excited to bring back the many opportunities and experiences that Graham has to offer in the Middle School Sports world.
Ways to be prepared for playing on a Graham Athletic Team:
Fill out an Athletics Emergency form. One form is good for the entire school year. A new form must be filled out each year. The form can be printed at home from this website, picked up from the main office, or you can ask your PE teacher for a hard copy. The form must be turned into Mr. Van Damme before you are allowed to play/tryout on a team.
Read through the website to find out more about the sport(s) you are interested in playing. Many students play multiple sports throughout the school year and some students play a sport every season!
Email Mr. Van Damme for further information or clarification about Graham Athletics.
Season 1 Sports tip off on Monday August, 26th. First meeting for all teams will be after school at 3:30pm inside the gym. Students will be introduced to their coaches and get an orientation of what it means to be a student-athlete here at Graham. All students must have an emergency form filled out and turned in before they are allowed to stay after school with the team.
